I’m a huge fan of space books. I was always obsessed as a child with the mystery surrounding space. I don’t think it’s really gone away and I still adore space books.
#8BrilliantBooks set in Space

As always it’s tricky to just choose eight books but here are my superb choices for this week’s theme. If you’re looking for a YA book set in space then I would highly recommend the Aurora series.
Alone, Man on the Moon, Look Up! and Beegu are all wonderful picture books. You can find my review for Alone here.
The Story Shop: Blast Off! and Rocket Boys are perfect books for early independent readers just dipping their toes out of picture books and into the world of chapter books.

Barefoot Books Solar System is one of those wow non-fiction books that you just can’t stop reading; a real treat. If you truly want to know what life is like in space then How to Spacewalk will give you a wonderful insight into the intriguing world of space living.
