Lunar Lantern
Super simple lunar lantern to make with your little ones. When Floss and I make these I’ll be focusing on scissor control with her as it’s something she really wants to improve on.

Lunar Lantern Materials
- Paper (I’ve used red and yellow)
- Scissors
- Glue/ double sided tape
- Pencil
- Ruler/ straight edge
How To Make
Fold paper in half length ways. Leave around a 1cm gap at the open end. Draw lines onto the paper. On a contrasting colour draw a line about an inch from the edge. Now cut the lines you have drawn on both pieces of paper. Keep the small strip of yellow for a handle. Unfold the red paper and attach the top red edge to the top of the yellow paper (long edge). Now attach the bottom in the same way. This should leave a little hump! Next fold the paper around into a cylinder and attach the edges. Using the left over strip of yellow. Fold it in half length ways and stick. Attach your handle inside your lantern!
