I shan’t apologise for being really hit and miss with Top Ten Tuesday. I’m starting to except more that I’m a complete #Spoonie and #SpoonieLife means that I take part in life when I can. I’ve just started posting a weekly journal on the blog to make me realise all the lovely things I do manage to do it a week. It’s called The Spoonie Life of Bookworms. If you fancy a read head here; I’d love to know if you’re a fellow Spoonie!

Joining in with Top Ten Tuesday
I’m joining in with Top Ten Tuesday this week. I couldn’t miss out on a week for water. I’m a Scorpio water sign and have always had a real affinity with water.
Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and it’s for anyone who loves books, lists and great bookish company! Sounds perfect to me.
Water – Covers, Titles or Bodies of Water in Books
It’s not surprising that some of our favourite books have water titles, covers or bodies of water in them. I love that they are all blues and greens in colour for the covers.
Have you read any of these? Which cover calls to you?
Top Ten Tuesday Books – Water
We love everything Moomin and there’s never really a time when you don’t get some mention of water in Moominvalley.
Betty the blue whale is one of a series that we adore. You can find my review here.
Dear Earth is such a special book and Frog’s Bog a laugh out loud picture book. I can totally relate to one of Frog’s days! You can find my review here.
Little Bear’s Spring is the sweetest little tale and I always love anything with a seasonal basis to it. It’s probably what I adore so much about Moomins too. Nen and the Lonely Fisherman is a beautiful story to warm the cockles. You can find my review here.
Song of the River is a super read and perfect for eco-conscious children. A flood devastates a families new life but with the support of re-wilding of beavers things begin to look up for mother and daughter. Big Book of the Blue is one of many fabulous titles from Yuval Zommer. The Mermaid Moon is exquisitely illustrated and The Proudest Blue a true triumph of a book.

Do go and check out others who join in with the Top Ten Tuesday meme. Loved the look of Ring of Bright Water Cover over on Bookshelf Fantasies blog. There were also quite a few titles that piqued my interest over on Cora Still Writes too.
These all look like such fun reads. 🙂
Here is my Top Ten Tuesday post.
These all look so lovely and tranquil. The color schemes really are very calming. Love it!
Happy TTT!
