I’m not usually a fan of children’s TV series but I have to say even I get sucked into the kitty-cat world of Gabby’s Dollhouse. What’s not to love – oodles of cuteness, kind messages and crafting! Tonies have had a story character out for a while and now Yoto has released a music Yoto card. In Autumn 2025 we’ve also seen more releases including a Toniebox 2 Tonieplay game.

Gabby Dollhouse Paw-fect Party Yoto Card
There’s been so many requests for a Gabby’s Dollhouse card to be available to Yoto customers. 3rd July 2025 saw the all regions release of a Gabby Dollhouse card. It’s not ‘episodes/ stories’ but a music card with various music tracks to be able to sing and dance to.

I would say £11.99 for 19 minutes of audio content does put me off a little. However, it’s two credits (I do remember it being only 1 credit when it launched) if you’re part of the Yoto Club Collector or Collector+ (you can find out details about Yoto Club options here). If you have a massive Gabby’s Dollhouse fan then the card is probably worth every penny even at a mere 19 minutes – it will probably just get put on repeat! You can check out a preview here.

Gabby Dollhouse Toniebox 1 and Toniebox 2 Characters
Our daughter Floss was delighted to see that Tonies have bought out an audio story of two episodes of Gabby’s Dollhouse. Gabby’s Dollhouse is perfect for cat loving, creative little ones.
Each episode a new little parcel arrives – that’s in a handmade box and Floss always wants to try and replicate the box. Whatever is inside the box goes with Gabby and Pandy Paws her trusted sidekick as they shrink down (with the use of Gabby’s magic headband) into the dollhouse for their latest adventure.
The TV episodes are full of uplifting, creative fun. We did purchase one of these and absolutely love it. At 48 minutes long I feel it’s good value for money. It’s the perfect Tonie character to sit and craft along with.
In the first Gabby’s Dollhouse Tonie character you get two episodes DJ Catnip Gets His Groove Back and Fairy Festival. DJ Catnip Gets His Groove Back being a personal favourite episode of mine!

Gabby’s Dollhouse: Cakey Cat Tonie
If you’re based in the US then you’re in for a sweet treat as you can find Gabby’s Dollhouse: Cakey Cat Tonie available now. This could well be the cutest Tonie Character ever!
Promising two more episodes to add to your Gabby’s Dollhouse collection Cakey Cat gives you Cupcake Tree and Dollhouse Detectives as well as two songs to enjoy. Purr-fect for any Gabby’s Dollhouse fans. This one has also landed in the UK on 14th July 2025. You can check it out here.
Gabby’s Dollhouse: Mercat Tonie
Another new addition to the Tonies Gabby Dollhouse family is the adorable Mercat. Now available in the UK here and the US here.
This time we get two stories with a total run time of 52 minutes. There’s some disparity between the additional content on the UK and US version. I’ll be ordering the UK version soon and I’ll see what it’s like (it states 3 stories but I don’t think this is correct??) The stories included in Mercat are:

Gabby’s Dollhouse: Kitty Fairy Tonie
The final member of the Gabby’s Dollhouse team so far is Kitty Fairy. Well I keep saying Fairy Kitty accidently and getting educated by my daughter! Kitty Fairy, is according to my daughter the cutest one so far (I still think Cakey). Again we see two more stories with a total run time of 45 minutes. Gabby’s Dollhouse Scavenger Hunt Game: Tonieplay Game
The new Toniebox 2 has arrived in our house and we’re very much enjoying putting it through its paces. We’ve ordered Gabby’s Scavenger Hunt Game and have really enjoyed it. My daughter is 9 and helped test out – we’re big Gabby fans and although the game is suitable from 3+ we thoroughly enjoyed playing.
One thing we’re finding when it comes to the Tonieplay games is how well thought out they are to support not only solo playing but collaborative play. In Gabby’s Dollhouse Scavenger Hunt game we yet again see this purposeful, fun play reflected.
You really don’t need the instructions to play this game. Piecing the giant puzzle together in intuitive and the Toniebox 2 tells you exactly what to do. Don’t forget you’ll need a Tonieplay Controller to play any of the games (you only need one of these no matter how many games you have).
The Toniebox 2 Gabby’s Dollhouse Scavenger Hunt Game starts with the jingle we all know and love – gosh it’s an earworm! Before launching into a scavenger hunt where the Toniebox and Rat Cat ask you to find different things based on a theme like pirates or food. You find an item and then tell the Toniebox 2 what room you found it in. As mentioned, this can be played solo or collaboratively. Children could take turns to locate an object and use the Tonieplay Controller. Or you could get children to draw or write which room they found the object in so everyone gets to be involved every time.
Once you complete a topic theme there’s a little song and some chat from the characters – it’s lots of fun. Each ’round’ takes around 10 minutes to play in our experience.

Yes, each Tonie is compatible on both the original player and new Toniebox 2. There has now been a change to the age classification of various Tonie characters in line with the age range for the Toniebox 2 now being 1 year +. Not all characters are suitable from this age so you will need to check if you have a child under the age of 3.
No! Tonieplay Games only work on the Toniebox 2. You will also need to purchase a Tonieplay Controller if you haven’t already purchased one as part of a bundle.
No. Once you have purchased one Tonieplay Controller you can use this to play any of the games. The Tonieplay Controller does not come with the purchase of a Tonieplay Game and needs to be purchased separately. However, you may be able to add it on as part of bundle or one be included in a bundle so make sure to check exactly what you are purchasing.
No. A Tonieplay Controller needs to be purchased separately but you only need one to be able to play with any Tonieplay Games you purchase.
