Yoto Club in 2026

Wondering whether Yoto Club is worth paying for in 2026? Here’s what’s included with Explorer, Collector and Collector+, who each membership suits, and whether I still think it’s good value after using Yoto for years.

What Do I Think of the Yoto Club Changes?

These are just my thoughts so please do drop a message in comments if your thoughts vary.

2026 Update

There has been an update from Yoto regarding the addition of independent creator content that will soon be available for Yoto Club members. You can find out all about this update here.

Explorer Yoto Club

Firstly, I’m really pleased to see an ‘entry level’ option in the Explorer Club option. For those new to Yoto especially, this is a great way to boost the amount of digital cards you have access to. The Yoto Original cards are great cards that my daughter loves. They’re often the factual cards that have great educational value – find out more here.

I’m interested to see how many cards Yoto may add to the Yoto Originals series in future. UPDATE: As of July 2026 there have been regular additions each month of Yoto Original content which is great to see.

Will this be a resource that continues to grow and benefit children as they become older and make you want to continue the subscription price long term? Further details on what ‘new and exclusive’ and the ‘offers and discounts’ terms mean will also help to understand the value of this package further.

To the left is a Yoto mini player in a pink jacket and to the right a Yoto mini player in a yellow jacket. Both mini players have a Little Leaders Yoto card and infront of the players are the rest of the our planet cards.

Collector or Collector Plus Yoto Club?

As you can see from the comparison table above there is very little difference between these two plans except for the price and the number of credits you receive.

Originally, when Yoto Club made the changes, you could access 850+ titles to spend credits (in the UK). Now there are 1,112 available in the UK (2nd July 2026). Content continues to grow and is not static.

Here in the UK the new Yoto Club will cost an extra £50 to go for Collector+ rather than Collector. So, is it worth it?

Below are two tables. One that takes the subscription price and divides by the yearly number of credits and the other shows the price minus the ‘Explorer’ Club price and then divided by the number of credits in a year. This gives you a rough idea of the value.

Direct Yoto Club Subscription Comparison

UK Comparison
(just credits)
CollectorCollector+
Yearly price£69.99£119.99
Yearly Yoto Credits1224
Price per credit£5.83£4.80

Yoto Club Subscription Comparison Minus Explorer Cost

UK Comparison
(credits minus Explorer cost)
CollectorCollector+
Yearly price minus Explorer cost£40£90
Yearly Yoto Credits1224
Price per credit£3.33£3.75

Yoto Cards are usually £5.99, £7.99 and £9.99 for non Yoto Originals. Therefore both plans give you a saving on cards. Especially when the average price is usually £7.99.

Often with Yoto the more lengthy stories for older children are priced higher; £7.99 and more often £9.99. I’ve recently seen some at £12.99 (I think these will become a two credit cost). Therefore if you have a child who likes these types of lengthier cards then you are going to benefit from getting the Collector or Collector+ Yoto Club as you will be making a significant saving on each card that you would normally purchase.

Who should choose…

  • Explorer → families who mainly stream digital content.
  • Collector → one new card each month (but you get all 12 credits at once to spend at any time during your membership)
  • Collector+ → families building a large library quickly.

As to whether to go for Collector or Collector+ I think this will really depend upon how many new cards you are wanting to purchase for your Yoto Player or Yoto Mini. There are lots of options for free content also. Check out this post for more details.

Where Will New Yoto Club be Available?

You can purchase Yoto Club options now! Find links below for your country. If you are planning on purchasing one of the Collector Yoto Club options do this before you purchase a player as you will get 10% off your order as a Yoto Club member. This can be stacked on top of other discounts. You can find all year round discount codes in this post.

Yoto Club Great Value Credit Options

I’m delighted to see that Yoto have finally sorted out the poor credit value. I had been feeling quite disillusioned by the Yoto Club for a while but had stuck with it hoping for change. Change has arrived. From the 17th September 2024 there are now 3 different options of Yoto Club to join.

The new club credit prices seems much more reasonable. There’s also been a significant increase in the choice of cards to choose from with your credits. We’re actually struggling to decide and we’ve got 20 credits to play with right now!

Spending Yoto Club Credits

In this post Yoto explain how the credit system is going to change. They explain how generally one single card will cost one credit but they have alluded to some single cards being a cost of two credits. I for one am thrilled to hear that the one card equals one credit is being removed as I’ve mentioned in previous posts that the value of multipacks had been poor. An eight card pack could cost you eight credits when in reality was only worth around £22.50 for a Yoto Club member; bad value for money!

There are a few single cards that are 2 credits for one card. Some of the Percy Jackson titles and Goodnight Mr Tom are £14.99 audio cards and currently 2 credits.

My recommendation for you (2026)

  • Explorer is excellent if you mainly want digital listening.
  • Collector is the sweet spot for most families.
  • Collector+ is best if you regularly buy Yoto cards and can make full use of the credits (you get all the credits up front)

Which membership do I personally choose?

Currently, I am on a Collector membership. Why? We’ve been Yoto customers for years and over that time we have amassed a large collection of cards. The Yoto Club Collector membership allows us all the free digital content access plus periodical, chosen additions to our collection. That being said, I am very tempted to return to Collector+. This is because of the amount of new releases titles that we want continues to increase. Yoto are adding lots of new content – and we want it!

Yoto Club FAQs

Is Yoto Club worth it?

For many families, yes. If you regularly buy Yoto Cards, the Collector and Collector+ memberships can quickly pay for themselves through the Club Credits, member discounts and free shipping. Even the Explorer plan offers excellent value if your family enjoys listening to Yoto Originals and making the most of the digital Club Collection. The best value comes from choosing a plan that matches how often you buy new cards. This post should help you decide.

Do Yoto Club Credits expire?

Yes. Club Credits are currently valid for 12 months from the date they’re issued. Yoto will email you if you have credits due to expire, but it’s still worth keeping an eye on your balance so you don’t miss out.

Can you cancel Yoto Club at any time?

Yes. You can cancel your membership whenever you like through your Yoto account. Your membership will remain active until the end of your current billing period, but it won’t automatically renew after that. If you decide to join again later, you can simply resubscribe.

Can you keep Yoto Cards after cancelling?

Yes. Any physical Yoto Cards you’ve redeemed with Club Credits or purchased outright are yours to keep forever. However, you’ll lose access to the digital Yoto Club Collection and any Club-exclusive content once your membership ends. If you’ve linked Club Collection titles to Make Your Own cards, those links will also be removed when your active subscription expires.

Which Yoto Club membership is best?

It depends on how your family uses Yoto.
Explorer is ideal if you mainly want access to the digital Club Collection and don’t buy many physical cards.
Collector is the best all-round choice for most families, giving you 12 Club Credits, member discounts and free shipping above the minimum spend.
Collector+ offers the greatest value if you regularly buy Yoto Cards, with 24 Club Credits, plus all the other membership benefits.

If you’re building a Yoto library or know you’ll buy at least a couple of cards most months, Collector or Collector+ usually offer the best overall value.

  1. Thank you – this is such a helpful post and explains things I didn’t understand (like what happens if you link a Yoto Original to a MYO card) much better than the YOTO website itself.
