3 Nature Podcasts to Consider
These are three nature podcasts that are perfect for children who love the natural world. Ideal for inquisitive children who love learning about the flora and fauna of our world. Feel free to add podcasts you’ve spotted in comments.
🟠YOTO All three can be added to Yoto (use RSS codes as this blog post explains.
🔴TONIE The last two podcast can be added to a Toniebox as they have a download option.
Check Podcast Content First
As always, it’s important to check the content you are going to share with your child/ren yourself to ensure you are happy with what they are exposed to. I always like to listen to a podcast first before I decide if I think it’s something I’m happy for my daughter Floss to listen to.
🟠But Why: A Podcast for Curious Kids
But Why encourages children to explore life’s big questions about nature, science, and the world around them. Host Jane Lindholm guides young listeners through fascinating topics – from why leaves change color to how animals communicate. The explanations are clear, engaging, and perfectly tailored for curious young minds.
There’s two podcasts released a month and the episodes are around 25 minutes long. There’s an age recommendation of 5-12 years old.
