The Baker by the Sea by Paula White

Snow? by Jo Surman

Snow? by Jo Surman is far from a book about the cold. It’s rich and warm and totally encapsulates the childhood magic of snow. Read my review here and get a glimpse of these gorgeous illustrations.

101 Dishes for the Emperor by Soni Zuberi Shah & Fatima Zahra Hassan

Colour and Me! by Michaela Dias-Hayes

Colour and Me! by Michaela Dias-Hayes is a magical little book that should be on everyone’s shelves. It can educate us adults just as much as children. You can find my review here.

The Book of Sisters by Katie Nelson and Olivia Meikle

One of my personal favourite non-fiction reads of 2022. I couldn’t put it down! The Book of Sisters is a triumph of a non-fiction text that not only informs but hooks you like a great story. My review is here with inside images.

The Cats Who Wanted More – Katie Sahota and Naomi Tipping

Treat yourself to a rare review from my other half. He loves political books and although the The Cats Who Wanted More is a children’s book it’s one of the cleverest political books of 2022!

Later by Curtis Ackie and Constanza Goeppinger

Later by Curtis Ackie and Constanza Goeppinger published by Formy books is beautiful and we love the gender stereotyping challenge. My review and inside images are here.

The Encyclopedia of STEM Words by Jenny Jacoby and Vicky Barker

Lastly, but by no means least is the fantastic The Encyclopedia of STEM Words. A fabulous compendium that should be on every bookshelf. Review can be found here.
