Where to Buy Yoto Make Your Own Cards

BIG changes have happened to the Yoto Club. To find out more check out this post.

Borrow Box

If you don’t already use Borrow Box I’d highly recommend it. It’s available to anyone in the UK and Australia and some parts of the US, all you need is a library card. You can borrow a wide selection of audio books for up to 21 days.

Once you’ve chosen your title you can download and add it like you normally would to a Make Your Own Yoto Card. Just keep a reminder of when your time is up on the rental so you can remove it from the card. You can always borrow it again in future.

Can you use Yoto as a Bluetooth Speaker?

Yes, both the Yoto Player and Yoto Mini Player can be used as a Bluetooth speaker. This means you can significantly expand what you can listen to on your players.

Flying Eye Books as Audiobooks

Flying Eye Books have announced that three of their wonderful books are now available as audiobook titles: Secret Lives of Unicorns, Secret Lives of Mermaids and Secret Lives of Dragons. You can find out more information about how to access these books here.

World Book Day 2026

Yoto is the official audio partner for World Book Day and there are currently free audio books available to listen to. Don’t Forget Your CD Collection

Certainly showing my age here! If you have music CDs or audio content on CDs then you can take the mp3 files from the CD and add them to your Yoto content collection. I find that charity shops/ thrifting are a great way to boost this type of collection and I’ve managed to get Moomins, The Wombles and my favourite as a child The Borrowers in the past.

Lots of libraries still loan out audiobooks too. So, just like BorrowBox you can ‘borrow’ for the load period and then return after.

Content Suitability

As with all books, I treat audio books no differently and would always check the content before sharing with my daughter. It’s important to know what you are sharing aligns with your family values.
